Pet care experience
I'm a Humane Rescue Alliance volunteer and former co-resident of a hoarding house rescue dog (Rio, as mutty as mutts get and a lovely creature). I've also looked after Labs, Dachshunds, Collies, Pit mixes, and Beagles in over-nights, walking visits, and everything in between. My friends with pets refer to me as “Uncle Kaz” to their little ones, and having that name called out usually nets me cuddles in parties and gatherings. I tend to be cautious and protective in the streets (as we all should, the drivers and cyclists in DC are simply mad) but enjoy quality playtime in a yard or a park- just let me know what you and your dog are comfortable with and we'll work from there. My morning/weekday schedules are pretty flexible thanks to my wedding/commercial business. Lately I've found myself spending too much time cooped up in my own home, so dogsitting/walking's going to be a great break for me and your pupper!

Ahh, Kaz is fantastic! He has cared for my dog Ziggy, and Ziggy loves him. He is the quintessential "dog person", and it is obvious that he loves dogs and is all-around great with them. He is caring and responsible, and I don't hesitate to leave Zig in his care!
Kaz is wonderful with my two dogs! Always ready to send me pics on request and keeps them occupied and happy! Highly recommend him to anyone who wants happy pups on their return!

A typical day
On a beautiful day, your dog and I will make a trek to Meridian Hill Park or The Mall to have plenty of space to run around and be social (or seclusive, depending on how your dog rolls). If temperatures are too high/low, we'll still get out to stretch our legs on the Metro trail or any one of the 5 parks around me and get some fresh scenery. In the worst of days, we'll brush, cuddle, and tug-of-war in my living room.
