Pet care experience
I am a big dog lover! I own my home with a big yard. Grew up with family dogs my whole life and now have my own little light of my life, Willow the border collie :). Willow is a very sweet dog,not aggressive at all and good at sharing all her toys and space. I am comfortable around all types of dogs but prefer to sit dogs under 50lbs as Willow is a little nervous around big dogs, of course I will consider all types of dogs so don't hesitate to reach out even if your pup is bigger than 50lbs. Having a very active pup of my own, I am use to pups that may need some extra stimulation. Willow and I are happy to take your pup on a daily walks around our neighborhood,out on a hike in the mountains,to a local off leash dog park or just play/cuddle around our home/yard! I do ask for a meet and greet before having a pup stay with us to ensure everyone ( especially your dog! ) feels comfortable. If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message. Due to my schedule I can only consider bookings 3 weeks or less out from booking date.

Kayt was a wonderful sitter for my pup and I look forward to her watching my dog again in the future. She scheduled a meet and greet with our dogs beforehand, at a time that worked best for my schedule, and was very thorough with questions about my dog’s routine and habits. She sent multiple photos and videos each day and was incredibly responsive over texts. My dog is my whole world and I felt very confident that she was safe and happy with Kayt while I was out of town. So happy I didn’t think she wanted to leave Kayt’s house! Kayt has a wonderful backyard and took my dog and her dog on adventures. Definitely a dog heaven for any pup.
Kayt and Willow are GREAT!! She is very easy to communicate with, proactive and considerate of our dog Blaze's behaviors. Willow is friendly, non confrontational, and seemed to get along well with my dog. Blaze walked straight into their home without looking back and he came home happy. Thanks Kayt and Willow!!
Kayt was amazing! She kept in great communication throughout Wrigley’s entire stay with pictures and videos. Such a piece of mind knowing that my pup was in such great care.
This was my first time being away from my puppy, Amelia for more than a couple hours! I was really nervous about it all, but immediately felt reassured about the arrangement as soon as we had our meet and greet with Kayt and their lovely dog, Willow. I was excited to receive several picture and videos a day! Amelia looked happy and right at home. When changes and potential dilemmas arose, Kayt responded with proactive solutions and adaptability. We would like to know if your dog has any temperament issues ( i.e. aggressive towards other dogs or a habit of lunging at people or dogs on walks) ? Is your dog potty trained? How is your dogs recall?
A typical day
We live only a couple mins down the road from Westcrest Dog Park and can take your pup there everyday they are with us. We also like to go snowshoeing and hiking if your pup would be up for those type of adventures.

I am a full time college student but start the morning with a nice walk with Willow that your pup will join us on. If it's the weekend when your pup stays with us then that usually includes other day adventures. If it's the week days then after our morning walks usually get to work for a few hours and then take a lunch break to play and a evening play sesh or walk as well.
