Pet care experience
I'm a veterinary technician Monday through friday. I foster and volunteer for a reptile rescue as well! I've had years of experience caring for my personal pets ranging from cats and dogs to exotics of all species. I'm familiar with reading behaviour and engaging furry friends in memorable moments. I work full time in a small general practice veterinary clinic, so evenings and weekends are best for me! I'm fairly flexible during these times! My personal animals (I have a rabbit, two snakes, an Italian greyhound, and a crested gecko) are on routine feeding and cleaning schedules. Each of my personal animals have specific dietary and medical needs so I'm very comfortable with handling specific instructions. I’m also trained in medication administration including oral, subcutaneous injections, and intramuscular injections. I have experience with animals that might be a little nervous about a stranger taking care of them, but I'm confident we'll be best friends in no time!

I'd like to know about any dietary, medical, and behavioral needs. I feel that keeping their routines and schedules are important when maintaining new situations at the most comfortable and familiar levels possible. I'd love to know of any specific toys, treats, or activities to keep them engaged! Being that I work in a veterinary clinic, I'd also appreciate any kind of vaccine information to ensure the safety and well being of your pets in their home setting and the pets I assist with care in my professional setting.
A typical day
I love going to dog parks, taking a nice walk around the neighborhood, or even just a game of fetch in the back yard! I'm definitely open to giving them new experiences or taking them to new places, or even just engaging in their favorite activities! I'm also experienced with cats and dogs of all ages, demeanor, and stages of life. If you have exotics that need care, feel free to message me! Availability
I currently work Monday-Friday, but frequently I only work half shifts, so I can be flexible about potty breaks. My personal pets are cared for by my house mate when I am pet and house sitting.
