Aloha! Professional 40 year old with a flexible lifestyle - no kids/no pets allows me to be available last minute, and for long-term pet sitting. I will adore, care for and exercise your dog(s) as if they were my own with hikes up Sleeping Giant, or other hikes of your choice. Check out my reviews from recent petsitting services on Kauai. I have taken care of 6 Newfoundland dogs in the French Pyrenees, 6 months with a German Shepherd puppy in Burgundy, and many dog sitting services in Aspen, Colorado in the past. I am self-employed, so work from home doing consulting and art, so can spent a lot of quality time with your fuzzy friends and really enjoy their company throughout the day. Cats OK too. I prefer 7 day minimum, very flexible with locations and time. I have the patience to help train your dog, and if you're interested can also draw your dog for you. I look forward to meeting you and your four-pawed family!

It's wonderful to be able to leave home with our pets in calm, capable hands. Kaylie has both of these attributes and many more. She is a great communicator-- she sent photos every day of Kaipo at play and rest along with detailed information. Kaylie is very patient--she worked with Kaipo on his separation anxiety. And she is a wonderful athlete--she took Kaipo hiking to his favorite spots, Sleeping Giant and Kealia. She also tended to our old cat, Lucky Luc, Kaipo's best pal. Many thanks to Kaylie for going above and beyond. We really appreciate the love and attention she gave our furry buddies!

Kaylie is an incredibly warm and sensitive person who interacts positively with both people and pets. She is extremely conscientious and very responsible in her work ethic such that any dog owner would never have a worry with Kaylie in charge of caregiving your four-legged little person. I would like to know how your dog reacts to other dogs on walks, if your dog runs off leash in a preferred area and returns without distraction, and if your dog has any medical issues such as seizures or allergies as well as their vet's number in case of emergencies.
A typical day
We would go for nice long walks in the morning/evening before the sun gets too hot. If your dog is a water lover, I'm happy to take them to the beach to fetch or splash around. Your dog would get lots of love an attention.
