Caring, Experienced, Happy to Help!
Pet care experience
I worked at dog boarding kennels and doggy daycares in high school and college. My family also always had dogs as I was growing up. I'm familiar with administering medications for dogs and cats (in pill form, oral syringe, in their food, insulin shots, sprays, etc.) and I've seen a variety of diets and care requests. I know that routine is important to keep your pet happy and healthy, so I'll do my best to strictly adhere to your instructions. I've had two separate roommates who got puppies while I was living with them and I split the puppy care/ duties with them. One was a Siberian Husky named Elsie that was 3 months old when we got her, and the other was an adorable Black Lab/ Border Collie mix named Rory who was 3 months when we got her and has grown into the best girl EVER. Also, I volunteered at the Iditarod this year as a Iditarod Trail Committee Dog Handler which was fascinating. Dogs (and cats) have all personality types, and I respect the need to approach them all in a different manner. I do have experience taking care of dogs in a group setting (doggy daycare), and I have a few regulars for whom I house and dog sit when they are out of town (including my parents who have a dorky, perfect Golden Retriever named Harry and a sweet German Shorthaired Pointer named Lolli). My boyfriend, Clinton, is also registered on Rover but we won't be accepting jobs at the same time.

Great job as always!
Great job! Very reliable!
Kayli is punctual, reliable, and loves on my baby! I’m so thankful for her.
Kayli was so great! I have a broken ankle and she was able to handle my two big dogs on a walk. They were very happy when they came back. Kayli was really relaxed, helpful, and . Will be using her again.

Availability
I have an extremely flexible schedule for the month of December. I work virtually in travel marketing (already a slow year for this…) but during the holiday season there is essentially no work. This means I am quite available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting your sweet pup! I was doing Rover this past summer in my own home in Anchorage, AK and had several regular clients with whom I had great relationships. For the winter, my boyfriend and I have taken our converted RV / bus SOUTH to the warmth and we’re staying in St. George area. This means I unfortunately don’t have the space to host your dog for doggy day care in my very small house, even though I’d love to. If you’d like to work out a situation where I do doggy day care at your place, I’m happy to work with you. The price I have listed for Doggy Daycare is based on a 4-6 hour care slot. Please let me know in your request the length of the Doggy Daycare that you’re requesting so that we can work out a fair price! My boyfriend is registered on Rover so that clients could know who was spending time with their pup when I used to host doggy day care, but we won't be accepting jobs at the same time. I am very active, so if your dog needs to go on runs to get energy out, I'd love to help! Note: -I reliably respond to Rover requests within an hour. If I don’t get back to you quickly, I am most likely on a hike without service and will get back to you ASAP!
