We'll love yours like our own!

Pet care experience

My husband and I originally joined Rover to help socialize my dogs when they were puppies because they were too young to go to doggy daycare, but now I love it and so do my dogs. My husband and I work from home full time which allows us to be present during your pup(s) stay. We are young and active so we can keep up with even the most playful pooches. We have a fully fenced in backyard that the pups can play in, there is a kiddie pool that is clean regularly for them to cool off in and the sprinkler gets turned on for added fun! We have lots of toys, so you don't have to bring any with you unless there is one specific favorite toy you pup(s) love. When the weather isn't conducive for playing outside we have a doggy den in the basement that they can play in. We are caring and loving and treat all animals as if they were my own. We are firm believers is positive redirection when it comes to training dogs, and do not support physical punishment as a form of training. We attended The Obedience Training Club of Greater Lansing for our own dogs' training and we work regularly with the trainers there. If our calendar indicates that we am full, please contact us because we may still be able to accommodate you pup(s). We require and meet and greet or a half day. During your pup(s) stay there may be other dog(s) present, but all the dogs we watch are pretty chill and extremely friendly! Please let us know what time you are dropping your pup off and picking up. We currently offer dog daycare and overnight boarding! Doggy Daycare drop off time is before 7-9am and pick up is 4-6pm, if drop off/pick up needs to be outside of those times please arrange it with us before your booking. Dog Boarding included one day of doggy day care and drop off/pick up is either 7-9am or 4-6pm (24 hours of care), if an additional day of doggy day care is needed please book it. Your dog is welcome to sleep where he/she is most comfortable. You may bring a dog bed or crate, we have extras crate that can be used so you do not have to lug one with you, or they are welcome to sleep in my bed, on the floor, or where ever they feel most comfortable. If your dog does not get crated we have a camera in the main room so we can peak in on him/her if we have to run an errand. We have experience with watching dogs with separation anxiety, postoperative, seizures, timid/shyness and aggression. In addition, we will watch puppies who are house broken and have had all their shots including Bordetella. Please send us your email so we can send your our pre-stay packet that will be to be filled out and returned before your pup(s) stay. We supply clean dog bowls for food and water and a clean crate (if needed), but ask that you bring a leash and harness/collar. We post pictures to our Facebook page daily as well as to our clients' only Facebook group. If you would like to receive photos via text and/or FaceTime can be arranged. They will have a great time and will be well taken care of under my watch. You can have total peace of mind that they are safe when they are with us. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friend(s). Visit our social media pages to see how much fun your pup(s) will have here. Search “One For All Dog Care” on Facebook and Instagram!

My senior dog, Maizey, attends doggie daycare twice a week and has stayed for 4 nights while we were away. Communication is good. Maizey seems to enjoy herself there. Kayleigh is knowledgeable about dog behavior and loves cuddles with Maizey.

I'm sure my dog Lena had lots of fun during her stay. However, I was quite disappointed. I don't have much expectations from sitters but ask for one particular thing, which is to not feed her something she normally doesn't eat. Because of her sensitive skin and stomach issues, I ask that she only gets fed what I provide. Not only did she come back home with 4 cups of extra/leftover food, her treat bag was left completely untouched/full. Kayleigh says she gave Lena their own treats (ignoring my request) and tells me she followed my feeding instructions (despite coming home with many leftover meals). I don't understand what she means by Lena "wasn't acting hungry", because she is a pig and will eat anything anytime 24/7. Also, I didn't understand the point of her telling me that dogs will get GI upset due to stress in a new environment etc, because if she believed Lena could have been stressed in her place, I'd think she should've been even more cautious to not give her any new treats, regardless of whether the treat was for dogs with sensitive stomach. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and had reached out to her to see what happened, but I felt her replies were only very defensive. She has many positive reviews, so either this was just a one-time mistake she doesn't want to admit or other dogs (and their owners) didn't have any specific/complicated instructions she had to follow. Very nice people and beautiful dogs, but unfortunately a simple request wasn't followed and didn't feel my concerns were heard.

Kayleigh took great care of my dog Riley. She kept me updated with pictures and he had lots of fun playing with her dogs.
