Hello! I am currently in a PhD program at FSU and an active volunteer at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. I am a responsible animal caretaker with years of experience and many references. I have personally owned and/or worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, and a number of small animals, and I love them all! I have worked in vet clinics, on horse farms, in animal shelters, and as a zookeeper (yes, really!) and therefore have a wealth of professional animal experience. I also took four years of veterinary assisting classes and am well-educated on animal health and behavior. I currently volunteer at the city shelter several days a week and work with dogs with behavioral issues there. I have dog-sat for several families with a variety of dogs, and I believe that any of my previous clients would say that I am an attentive, thorough, and loving temporary mom to their pets. I cannot accept dogs at my home due to pet restrictions, but I am happy to travel within the Tallahassee region. I am comfortable with dogs (and other pets) of all sizes, breeds, and personalities (although I must say I’m partial to the pitties!), and I love to be outside so we will go on plenty of walks! I do have my own dog, who is extremely dog friendly and would love to meet and play with your dog. However, if she's not welcome, that's totally fine too! (For overnight visits, I do need to be able to bring her.)
