Hi there! My name is Kayleigh and I am a recent college grad looking to gain as much experience with animals as I can before applying to veterinary school in a few years. A little about me: I studied zoology and pre-veterinary medicine with a little animal science mixed in at Michigan State University. During my time in undergrad, I worked for a small veterinary clinic and I currently work at a larger veterinary hospital where I hope to gain even more experience (and pay off my student loans so I can eventually go to vet school!) Aside from my clinical experience, I have worked for Rover for several years and even maintained my own private pet sitting business before I moved to Oregon while in college so my experience petsitting includes both breadth and depth. I have two pets of my own, both a dog and cat and thus I have personal ownership experience and understand the needs and attention pets require to be happy. I grew up in a family that bred German Shepherds so I have many years of behavior knowledge and I even conducted my own feline behavioral research for HSUS in California. I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned from my experiences to your pet!
