I have spent my whole life around dogs. I lived on my grandparents farm for most of my childhood, where they bred and raised Australian shepherds. Alongside my grandparents, I helped raise and train these beautiful dogs, and realized that my calling was to help animals. Many other family members also had dogs which I helped take care of. I love animals of all kinds, and I feel a very special connection to dogs and cats. I currently work part time as a landscaper and part time as an animal attendant at PAWS Animal Adoption Center, taking care of the animals on a daily basis and preparing them to go to good homes. Being around senior dogs, I also am familiar with administering medicine (such as insulin) to help our furry friends live long, full lives. I work Monday through Thursday from 8-4, off Fridays and Sundays, and work Saturdays 8-4; On Saturdays I work at the animal shelter, where I am surrounded by cats and dogs all day long and am responsible for their wellbeing; I also have two dogs and two cats of my own at home, as well as some small farm animals such as geese and chickens; Although I cannot bring other animals into my home, I am more than happy to stay with your pet in the comfort of their own, which seems to be less stressful for the animal - and for my human clients as well! I am happy to do general housekeeping wherever I stay to ensure you'll return to a clean home.
