I've worked at petsmart since 2015 and continued to until I became a dog groomer and started to work at a private salon. I am well trained with cats also and groom out of home and taking on nails trims as a daily task!

I prefer to use a gentle leader when walking most dogs, it's a face harness basically. It helps a lot with pulling. Thus securing the pet close to me and avoiding and disturbances with other pets. I will probably bring a comb or brush with me to check out the pets coat! ;)

Knowing of any triggers, if they don't like certain people, foods, places, toys the last thing I want is to come in and make them uncomfortable.
A typical day
I love to find out what makes them happiest. Is it a ball, a spot to rub, a place to go to. Then challenging them physically and mentally. Playing games with treats or positive reinforcement. Checking on them consistently to make sure they are good!!

Availability
I groom out of home, I also do home visits for pets that don't travel well. I have a standard poodle myself so I am always busy caring for her coat and keeping up on her nails.
