Pet care experience
I'm fairly new to taking care of dogs, but I absolutely adore dogs and cats of any size! I have grown up with many cats, having 2 right now, where I help keep their little box clean and feed and water them everyday. I got a puppy in 2020 and raised her along with our family dog we got almost 2 years beforehand. I have this experience with puppies and I clean up after them, feed and water them and love to play and cuddle them. Overall, I just love to help people and animals, obsess over all furry friends and LOVE to be around them as much as possible! I enjoy to do special things with them, whether that be cuddling, giving special treats or buying them a pup cup if allowed.

I am able to take in information about animals and can crate animals if needed, but I prefer them to be with me if able. Having said that, I have a dog and I understand it is an owners choice as to how the animal is taken care of, so I will do whatever is asked of me. I will be with them though and keeping eyes on them always. My personal dog, Evie has been a lot to take on, so I feel that I have learned a lot about dogs that I am able to apply to other dogs I take care of. She has had seizures and now takes a medication for it that the only way to give it to her is to open her mouth and put it down her throat. She also is a very anxious dog, so I am able to help lessen that anxiety in other dogs and I love to help do that. The last obstacle I have had with her is being a husky, she has a talkative personality that has made me understand dog body language much better to see the differences between afraid talking and playful talking.

I like to know ahead of time what a normal day looks like for the animals and if they have any triggers. I know how to work with them well as my dog has anxiety and needs oral medication and watching out for triggering situations.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on a walk if possible and other than that, I like to keep them on a similar schedule to what they are used to. If they do a lot of napping, I can hang out and cuddle them while they nap. If they like to be outside, I love to hang out outside with animals for us all to get fresh air.

Availability
I work part time currently and go to school, so I am able to help out with most days! Just check with how much schedule is and I should know for sure a few weeks ahead of time. I work most of the time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday evening and Sunday during the day. I go to school around noon to 3pm everyday. My shifts are typically 5 to 6 hours, so if your pet is okay to be left alone during that time, I can house sit for those days.
