Hi, my name is Kaylee, I'm an (aspiring) writer with a passion for animals. I have grown up with pets of all shapes and sizes and have always felt a bond with the animals in my care. From my first job working in a family-owned pet store, where I took care of a multitude of animals from bunnies to iguanas and everything in between, to looking after my neighbor's dogs, cats, and occasionally horses while they were away, I always knew pet-care would be part of my life. While in college, since I couldn't have pets of my own on campus, I'd frequent the animal shelters nearby to get my weekly dose of puppy playtime. I loved being able to give the dogs and cats there the same love and companionship they provided me. Once I moved into my own place I immediately adopted Maggie, a Weimaraner/American Pit Bull mix. She is now an 12 year old love-bug who has been across the country with me three times by car. We have witnessed the grandness of the Grand Canyon, beheld the magnificence of the Las Vegas Strip, and even outrun a tornado in Omaha, Nebraska together! Nowadays we stay active by hiking scenic trails and going for long walks through nearby parks. I would love the opportunity to get to know your dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and small pets, and provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for them while you're away. My number one goal is to put your mind at ease in knowing that your pets are having a blast by my side and, of course, getting all the love and attention they deserve.
