I worked as a veterinary assistant at an emergency animal hospital for about one year. This means that I know how to take your pet's vitals and can tell when they're in trouble and might need to go to the vet, or just need to take a break. It also means that I have worked with all kinds of breeds of dogs, from small to big, from cuddly to playful, and from docile to aggressive. I have also been pet-sitting for several families this summer while they were away on vacation. Each family has been very happy with my care, and the animals enjoy me being there to care for them and spend time with them. I have had pets my entire life, and have been caring for them since I was about 10. There has never been a point in my life in which there has not been a dog in my house. I also own two birds and several fish. So, if you need a pet sitter for your feathered or fishy friends, I can help with that too! I was a sitter for an elderly, special needs Boston terrier for two years. She had to use a bailey chair and was on several medications, so I am used to working with dogs with special needs. I love going walking, whether it be hiking or just wandering the neighborhood. I love to explore!
