The skinny: I'm a responsible, caring, and patient dog enthusiast that has evenings/nights/ some weekends available to be a backup for your regular dog walker in Midtown, Sacramento. I would love to take your pup on a long weekend hike! I'm an experienced Rover'er, most recently in San Diego. I may consider some housesitting gigs, but I cannot accommodate boarding or daycare. Best wishes! I've had family dogs most of my life and recently house-sat, boarded, and walked dogs at 50% time for six months. I now have a full time job and recently moved to Sacramento, but would still love spend more time with dogs! I am responsible, reliable, love animals, and will take care of your pet with kindness, patience, and respect. I'm attentive, detail-oriented, and committed to taking care of your family member like they were one of my own. I love playing with dogs, and between playing and walking/jogging/hiking will tucker out your pup so they can rest easy until you get home. I also love taking great photos of your pets (with a little portrait mode magic)! I would be happy to look after your other animals as well! I once house-sat for an entire month taking care of chickens, a cat, and extensive garden. When house-sitting while you're away, I will do my best to give you peace of mind about your family member and home. For me, house-sitting is a 24 hr period that includes at least one walk per day in addition to giving your dog love and attention, meals, picking up after them, and keeping your home tidy, secure, and looked after. I would be a great fit as a fill-in for your regular dogwalker weekday evenings (30 or 60 minute visits) or someone to take your dog on an all-day hike on the weekend!
