***UPDATE!!!*** As of April 2019, we are currently on hiatus from boarding dogs in our home. We are undergoing major home repairs and will hopefully be back in business January 2020. To all of our regular pups and people, we will miss you! And hope to see you in 2020! Meanwhile, we are providing a new service - dog walking! Thanks to our time with Rover, we have plenty of experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. We would love to get to know you and your pup - send us a message and let's get started! About us: Our family has been dog-sitting through Rover since November 2015...and we love it! We've had all kinds of pups, big and small, young and old, and we love them all like family. Both my husband and I have had dogs for most of our lives, and our 2 boys, ages 2.5 and 15, adore them. The 15 year-old loves having a companion on his walks and the toddler just likes to snuggle and play fetch (he thinks that's hilarious!). Aside from our experience owning our own dogs, I also worked at PetSmart for about 4 years and Blue Buffalo, a pet food company, for 2 years. So I've been around lots of animals, big and small, and know the basics of their care. Through Rover, we've had experience with senior dogs, separation anxiety, administering medication, and more, so we're ready for you! We have a huge fenced-in yard and plenty of space for your dog and his/her essentials. There is almost always someone at home, aside from the occasional errand or our teenager's baseball games. So if your dog needs to go out often, or just likes company and cuddles, there will be someone here for them! What you can expect: We want your pup to feel comfortable and happy during their stay, so we try to stick with your routine as closely as possible (eating/potty schedule, where they sleep, training commands, etc.). We don't mind pets on our furniture, so if that's where they like to snuggle and sleep, that's fine by us! Our backyard is huge and fenced-in, giving your pup lots of room to run and play. We tend to be out there a lot, especially during the warmer months, so a game or ten of fetch is not out of the question. We'll update you as much or as little as you'd like. If you want several pictures a day or even to Skype them, we can make it happen. We know how hard it can be to leave a member of your family behind! We do try to limit our pet-sitting to one family at a time, though sometimes there may be an overlap of a day or so. If that happens, we try to let you know.
