Pet care experience
Ever since I was about 10 years old I grew up around family members who took care of a dog. From those experiences I gained some form of knowledge on what their health conditions could be like, the importance of grooming, and on occasion a proper diet as well as exercise.

I have a fenced yard which gives any welcomed neighborhood cat a safe place to enjoy the dry food and water my family puts out for them. On the other hand, all of my cats and birds are indoor pets given food and water 24/7 with a comfortable/proper living environment. My 5 cats roam freely around the house while the 4 cockatiels stay in their cages unless a family member is at home to give the birds attention and supervise them while they're out of their cage.

I would like to be aware of any health conditions your dog might have, if there is a certain time your dog gets fed and what food you give to him/her. Your dogs behavior around people and other canines.
A typical day
With permission from the parent and proper research ahead of time, I would love to take the dog (that I have the opportunity to watch) on a small hike or to a dog park. If permission to go out in public is not granted I will test his/her skills at playing fetch in the front or backyard of the dogs home. I can even try teaching the dog to learn a few tricks.

Availability
I currently work part-time in retail therefore my hours fluctuate every week. My family has different work schedules which makes it easy for us to take turns on giving care to our own pets. Since the schedule for my retail job changes per week, I'm willing to work around that schedule if I was given the opportunity to watch over a clients dog.
