Wanted: Dog to Love On (Cats Too!)

I recently said goodbye to the love of my life. If dogs can be soulmates, he was mine. So I’m looking forward to loving on your furry friends! I have years of experience with headstrong, large dogs. As well as many years of small dog experience, knowledge of dog reactive dogs, administering medication, and following specific feeding instructions. I spent many hours training my dog to be a polite member of society and feel confident to incorporate your training plans into walk sessions if desired. I have a major soft spot for our older friends but I love some good puppy time, too! I don’t currently have a traditional 9-5 job so while I may need to leave the house occasionally while sitting, I will not need to be gone for 8+ hours at a time, typically 6 hours max. Does your dog love car rides? Me too! Walks through the woods? Same! Trained to run along side a bike? I’d be more than happy to oblige!

Kayla is amazing with dogs. Kayla is punctual, attentive and trustworthy. She is very attentive when walking dogs to not be caught in a situation where there could be problems. Our dog's little nub of a tail starts wagging when she knows it's Kayla coming in the house, that is no small feat, our dog is super selective with who she likes.
I could not be happier with Kayla. She was so accommodating to stop by twice before she watched my previous four year old yellow lab without hesitation. She took her for walks every day, sent pictures, and my house was spotless when she left. Would highly recommend her!

I have zero breed preferences, I’ve previously owned a bully breed and have experience with many breeds of dogs (though, if we’re honest bully breeds are my favorite. Don’t tell the others!). All I ask is a heads up about their quirks, ie dog reactive, food aggressive, afraid of quick movements. And if they require anything special, such as medication, having it written down is ideal.
