Pet care experience
Aside from always owning a cat I have lived in a few households where I was tasked to take care of dogs, cats, and reptiles. I’m comfortable with all types of pets. In the way of training I have an M.A. in experimental psychology and have worked in behavioral psychology with both animals and adolescents.

Kayla was great with our cat, Arte! He’s very particular and very much a cat, so I felt relieved to know that she was familiar with them. She was wonderful with him and I’d definitely have her sit him again!
Kayla did an awesome job with my two dogs while I was away. She sent me pictures and updates and I felt comfortable that they were in good hands. I highly recommended Kayla!

A typical day
I find both mental and physical stimulation very important especially when mom and/or dad are away. I like to cater to the clients normal schedule so activities may vary but I haven’t found an activity I’m uncomfortable with yet. While sitting expect lots of photos and videos!

Availability
I have a full time position at First United Bank and Trust. I work between 830am and 6pm but will go in a couple hours late or leave a couple hours early half of those days. Weekends I’m normally free! I’m available for overnight stay if preferred.
