I want to become a pet sitter because not only am I passionate about caring for dogs but also because this year My second year at UC Davis and I am an animal Science major. I want to be a petsitter to gain a better relationship with animals. I have also volunteer at Michelson’s Found Animal Shelter for 2 years and this experience taught me how to properly walk dogs while nurturing them. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m not in it for the money I plan to actually gain knowledge on dogs by working with them. Since I’m a current student I don’t work giving me more time to care for dogs. There are also currently no other pets in the house. I am currently a full-time student at UC Davis, I’m home most of the day with lots of time so this is a good job for me!! I have a yard which is unfenced and a dog park in my apartment complex so I take my pets on walks at least twice during their stay. I also allow pets to be on furniture and have a lot of play time with toys.
