My name is Kayla and I have a love for all animals. I wrote my senior thesis in college on Pit Bulls to bring to light their true nature, not how the media portrays them. I worked at a doggie daycare for a few years gaining knowledge of all breeds, temperaments, diets, medicine with dogs of all ages. Also, I am very much involved in training shelter dogs to become more adoptable. I do that on my spare time as well as running and walking the dogs for excercise. I have dog sat many peoples animals in my own home as well as at their homes for many years. I have fostered dogs in my home prior to moving to Chicago. I am very experienced with all types of dogs and behaviors as well as other types of animals such as cats, reptiles, rodents and farm animals. I adopted a dog from PAWS Chicago in 2017 and he is my adventure buddy! I am very active, love to go running, go on hikes and explore new areas of the city.
