Pet care experience
Hi my name is Kayla I’m from Salisbury but live a little ways out now. I work at Forsyth Medical Center and take care of animals in my spare time! I grew up around all sorts of different animals besides dogs and cats such as bunnies, cows, chickens, possums, etc. and have a love for them all. I’m very down to earth and will work with all sorts of crazy schedules or last minute needs, I know what it’s like to be busy busy. I’ve also fostered dogs and cats throughout my teens and into adulthood, special needs included. I love all the dogs and cats possible, big or small, fuzzy or fluffy. They all get attention from me and I love meeting them!

It is important to know what they are scared of and if they have any triggers such as sirens or squirrels. As well as how they walk on a leash. I want the owners to be honest, as I just want to know how to properly care for their animal!
A typical day
I love to start out making sure the animals is comfortable with me, letting them come up and sniff then we will go on a walk and I make sure they’re secured and comfortable with walking. Then we will come inside and play and get treats.
