Teacher who loves & misses her dogs
Pet care experience
Teacher on summer break. School Year Info: - starts Aug 9th - I leave between 7:30-8:00 am ( unless a meeting is scheduled) - school ends at 3:40pm. I leave right after to get back to pet(s) (unless meeting is scheduled...very rare) - available most breaks/holidays but sometimes I will take the break to relax - I let the client know of any meetings or school events that I may have during the time you schedule. I want you to be informed. I always had a dog (labs) since the age of five. Moved here from IL where I had a lab mix named Calle but she stayed back with my sister. Back in IL, I was a dog sitter and walker for families. I would stay at there house to take care of their dog(s) while they were away, feed, take to appointments, go on many walks, & most importantly play with the dogs. I still dog sit for a friend who also moved here to AZ. I have loved & been around dogs since a very young age, which makes me a great person for the job I am currently on summer break with plenty of free time. No dogs or other pets of my own so I am available when needed. When I stay at a client's house I make sure the pet is comfortable & happy. Keep up with the clients daily schedule (feeding & bathroom). I enjoy playing (fetch, tug of war, etc) & going for morning and evening walks (weather is cooler) with the pet.
Reviews
Kayla did a great job house sitting and taking care of our three big dogs. She was communicative and kept us updated w/ pictures of each of the pups. She kept the house tidy and did everything we asked. We would certainly use her again if it worked out.
Kayla was a very good pet sitter for our dogs and cats. I was very nervous about leaving the pets again after a HORRIBLE experience with another sitter (not found through this site), and overall just anxious about having someone stay at our house for a few nights. Kayla did great. She drove over to interview with us and wore a mask when we were inside the house due to COVID (I requested she do so). She listened to my concerns and understood specific needs (dogs are old, cat tries to escape, etc) and was also good at dealing with the chaos that was my house that day. She also contacted me with pictures and well checks during our trip but I didn't feel like I needed to be by my phone or anything, she took care of things on her own. I appreciated this a lot bc it allowed me to relax. She sent pictures as well which was nice and all the animals seemed happy and well fed when we got home. Kayla was very clean and we came home to the house exactly like we left it, which I really appreciated. Overall a great experience and I will contact her again when we travel next.
Kayla was an excellent dog sitter for us. We were very nervous to have someone we didn’t know stay in our home and watch our 1 year old rescue mix. This was the first time we left our dog, Shadie and knew she would have some anxiety. Kayla worked with her patiently to allow her to take her on walks. Kayla gave us daily updates and pictures and spent a lot of time with her. Kayla is very friendly and pleasant - she really enjoys her time with dogs! Will use her again soon!
Kayla’s awesome! Great story review from each visit with lots of pictures. The dogs clearly had fun with her!
