I come from a very small town in upstate NY. As long as I can remember, my family has had multiple dogs and cats. I have experience in home sitting, dog walking, and play visits. I personally have a fur baby named Cinder, who acts more like a dog than a cat. I am reactivating my Rover profile after being inactive for a few years as an opportunity for supplemental income. I am a Finance Manager for a tech company and my partner and I are trying to cash-flow our first home purchase. Looking forward to making furry friends through Rover again! I am a Finance Manager, Macaulay Honors College graduate, and retired college athlete. I will respond to any requests quickly to let you know if I am available to care for your dog(s)/cat(s). You think, should I really use Rover? Then you meet the people who work for Rover like Kayla and you think wow where have you been all this time? Kayla went above and beyond with our full of energy puppy.

Kayla is AWESOME! I would highly recommend her as a dog and cat (and fish) sitter. She came to our home and took care of our high energy, rambunctious golden retriever with love, compassion and understanding. She also took care of our cat and fish too! I felt that I could trust that all of our pets were in the best hands while we were away. Kayla is a great young person who is responsible, compassionate and who goes above and beyond to keep your pets and home safe! We can't say enough good things about her! Highly recommend!!

Some things I would like to know about a dog before sitting him or her are: the temperament of the dog; whether the dog is food aggressive or not; any allergies that the dog has; any fears the dog has; whether the dog is friendly with people; whether the dog is friendly with other dogs; whether the dog is friendly with cats; and if the dog has any special needs. I have no breed preferences, but I have experience with dogs from toy to large. I have no experience with extra large dogs, but I am up for any challenge thrown my way!.
A typical day
Coming from upstate NY, I believe that dogs are happiest when they have grass to play on. Therefore, my hope is to find a park near every client, and take their dog(s) to the park to let them have fun. I am a fan of jogging and I will be willing to take a client's dog for runs. Depending on the interest of the dog, some activities include playing frisbee, soccer, fetch, and runs.

Availability
I work from home as a full time Finance Manager, but I always take a one hour break around noon/1 for a mid-day walk. I would love for a furry friend to join me in my daily walks! After work plans? I am more than willing to go for an evening walk with your fur baby!
