Pet care experience
I spent several years house/dog sitting for friends and family and decided to go more professional a few years ago by doing dog walking through Wag! After stopping that because of a very involved full time job, I missed my clients. Now that I’ve got a less demanding job, I’m excited to pick up again and offer new services through Rover! I have experience sitting/walking dogs from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, from 3 month old puppies with frequent potty breaks, to senior pups with medication needs. They are all welcome here! I now have two fun-loving doggos (Ronin, Shiba Inu and Cairo, Doberman Pinscher) and most of my joy comes from taking them around on outdoor adventures and playing with our neighborhood friends at the dog park. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies :) I currently do Instacart full time so even though I am not generally home for the full duration of the day, I am super flexible and accommodate any needs your pets may have. I’m usually out and about but make stops by the home to check in during the day :)

We loved having Kayla stay with our almost 16 year old, blind and deaf dog, Addison for over a week while we went out of town. She is extremely personable, clearly loves animals and is just an overall nice lady. We felt comfortable having her in our home and she provided great updates. As our pup has gotten older and has a few quirks, we worry about her more when we have to go out of town, but for the first time in a couple years, we felt like we were leaving Addy in good hands and knew she'd be taken care of and would get the attention she needs at her elderly age. Kayla, thank you so much!
Words cannot describe how grateful we are to Kayla for watching our two dogs this past week. It was not an easy job… my little dog, even though introduced to Kayla, was not happy (to say the least) when she came over the first day. At that point, I would not have blamed her if she decided not to take care of him. Despite the aggression she received, she continued to care for them. She was extremely patient with him and figured out different tricks/techniques to handle our little guy. He progressively became a little warmer to her each visit. By the end of the week, he was snuggled up with her! She is seriously the BEST! Highly recommend her for any of your dog walking/feeding/sitting needs. I know we will be using her again in the future. Thank you Kayla!!!

A typical day
I spend the mornings with the fur babies and then I head out to work for a few hours. I come back midday or around feeding time to spend time with them. I’m in for the night around 7pm and hang out with the pets all night!

I do Instacart full time so my schedule is flexible but I am not usually home for the entire duration of the day. I will make stops at home to make sure the pets are good, and I will spend the entire night/early morning with them
