Pet care experience
Hello, thanks for viewing my profile! I've worked as a veterinary technician for 14 years & as a pet/house sitter for about 20 years. Working in the veterinary field, I am very comfortable administering oral & injectable medications, cleaning ears or trimming nails, bathing, even expressing anal glands. I've undergone canine/feline CPR training by ER vets numerous times & have advanced animal medical knowledge as well in the case that something were to happen. I have also been FearFree Certified - meaning I know how to take my time earning the trust of those who may be shy/nervous/scared/anxious. I am very comfortable with dogs of all ages, breeds, etc. Hounds & seniors are my favorite but I love all dogs! You can feel safe that with my many years in veterinary medicine that your dog is in very good hands with me. My husband is great with dogs. We have 2 dogs of our own, they’re littermates -1.5yo American English Coonhounds. They will keep your dog company while they stay at our house. I have a fenced in yard & have 1 large crate that is available if needed - you may need to bring yours. Dogs are allowed on the furniture & in the bed in our household. I am very careful when entering & exiting any exterior doors. There are security cameras on exterior doors as well as in the home for us to monitor the dogs.

Is your pet potty trained? Any behavioral things that need to be known? Daily medications? The more I know the better I can care for your pet.
A typical day
We can go for walks around the neighborhood or to the park. I'd would love to play fetch or tug o war with them. If they're more of a couch potato we can snuggle & watch movies together. Anything which makes you & your dog happy! :)

I work 7-2 Monday through Friday. I do have the ability to bring your dog to work with me if they need medications or to go potty more frequently.
