Hi my name is Kayla! I am a recent graduate of The University of Alabama where I majored in Marketing. I just married my high school sweetheart and we are starting our journey together here in Lakeland. I am looking to spend most of my weekends pet/house sitting. I will also be available on weekdays in the evenings for late night or overnight stays. My husband and I have a four-year-old American Pitbull Terrier named Logan and a one-year-old Domestic Medium Haired cat named Luna. I have had dogs my whole life and have petsat for many families throughout high school and college. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments. From Shitzus to Great Danes, I can walk, play, feed and bathe pups with various needs. I have experience working with my own mildly dog-aggressive pitbull so I know how to safely and calmly break up dogfights. I spent several summers taking care of a family‘s two Great Danes, three cats and saltwater fish aquarium for both daily check-in‘s and overnight stays. I have also provided care for my grandfather’s elderly Boston Terrier who was blind, deaf and required frequent oral medication.
