My name is Kayla. I'm 25 and excited to working with one of the many things I am most passionate about, animals. I have a one year old Brittany named Brandy who can't get enough of people and other paw friends. I can provide dog sitting in your own home, I can walk, feed, and do many other tasks for your pet such as giving required medicine and or other personal needs. I have had over 10 years of experience with animals and have studied about them in school. I have taken many training classes with my own puppy, spent the time, money and energy, learning how to read behavior and properly manage/train my dog. Although completely open to any type of pet, I love dogs of all sizes and ages. I can also perform baths and light grooming. I have my own car with flexible hours and determination to get started! I love animals and cannot wait to pursue this part time position with them and also help out in any way I can.

If there’s one person I trust to take good care of my dog, it’s Kayla. She’s very loving and affectionate with dogs, but is also attentive and stern to make sure they stays safe. Because taking care of animals is something she’s interested in and enjoys, Kayla is educated and intelligent; she’s great at picking up dogs’ body language cues to help her see if the dog is feeling uncomfortable, aggressive, or excited. I feel secure when Kayla is looking after my sweet boy.

I would need to know all characteristics of your dog, how they are with people/dogs, if they resource guard their food, how they best listen and what grabs their attention the easiest, anything of that nature. If they mark inside other people's homes, if they don't share well. There are never enough things to go over, which can all be discussed in conversation!
A typical day
I really value and make it an important part of my lifestyle to stimulate my dog, and any dog I care for both physically and mentally. Aside from walking and throwing a ball around, I would love to help their social skills by playing with my dog, go on hikes, play some stimulation and enriching games with rewards, reinforce any training, spend one on one time with them.

Availability
I work remotely 4 days out of the week. We have a large backyard and pool and it's very easy for me to take care of my dog, as well as work and get things done that need to be.
