I love animals! I love caring for all pets, not just dogs. I have 7+ years of experience in an veterinary medicine, where I have spent time with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experience administering veterinary treatments and caring for animals with special needs. Every pet is different and has different needs, so I think that getting to know each pet is very important; I'd love to get to know your pets! I have a boxer and three cats of my own, so I know they are more than pets, they're family. I promise to provide the best care possible for your furry babies! I am currently working full time at a 24hr veterinary emergency center, so I have access to veterinary care any time, if necessary. I am very familiar with control and restraint of pets of all sizes, know how to handle pets of all different socialization levels, recognize abnormal behavior, check vitals, administer medications, and I am CPR certified in the case of an emergency. Kayla was an awesome caretaker to my dog. I was scrambling to find someone last minute before I had to travel for a week and a half, and Kayla was willing to take on the task. She dropped in on my dog a few times a day and kept me updated on his mood and sent videos. She took the time to play with him, take him on walks, cuddle, and just keep him company. She even took the time to meet me and my dog before accepting my booking to ensure it would be a good fit. You can tell the love and care she has for animals and I am so appreciative that my fur baby was in great hands. I would 100% recommend Kayla to anyone needing any type of services, and she will be number one pick if I ever need any help with my dog in the future!
Kayla was everything she claimed to be and made friends easily with my dogs . Her experience as a veterinary tech is a huge plus .
Kayla has taken care of our two dogs when we were at work or out of town for several years. Molly and Prince love spending time with her and I can always trust that they are well taken care of in our absence. She goes beyond walking and feeding them and takes time to play with them and tries to keep them from feeling lonely.

A typical day
If the area is suitable, I would be more than happy to take your dogs on walks. I enjoy playing with your pets almost as much as they do; we will spend lots of time playing, and I promise to give them plenty of love and snuggles while you are away!

Availability
I do work a full time overnight position at Emergency Veterinary Care Centers. I typically work 12hr shifts four days a week, but I can be flexible. I can also bring pets to work with me if necessary.
