Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Kayla and am a recent college graduate from USC. While in college, I was responsible for running/walking and feeding a middle-aged Lab and a senior Boxer. I grew up with a Yorkie and a cat. My families cat is diabetic so I have plenty of experience with administering injections and medications. Additionally, I recently got a Chesapeake Bay Retriever (Calhoun) who is about 4 months old. While I do work during the day, I would love to help care for your pet(s) in the afternoons. After getting Calhoun I realized how important it is to have someone trustworthy, timely, and responsible to care for your animals which is exactly why I decided to join Rover. If you're anything like me, the idea of leaving your fur baby in a crate or alone all day is not ideal. I truly believe that our pets are additional family members and will do anything and everything I can to properly care for your furry friend. If you need someone to spend some time with them, administer important medication, bathe them, or just get some energy out, send me a message! I hope to hear from you soon!

Information Kayla S. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your dog I would like to know their activity level, age, any commands they know, meal times, and other specific information (as needed) such as medication, medical problems, etc. Also, knowing microchip information (if applicable) and veterinary contact information is mandatory.
A typical day
My favorite dog friendly parks include Hampton Park, the Battery, Cannon Park, Colonial Lake, Brittlebank Park, and James Island County Park. Most of these locations contain large, grassy areas that make it easy to play fetch, run, throw a frisbee, or meet and play with other friendly dogs.
