About Kuno

Kuno is a rescue dog from the SPCA. He was a stray so we aren't sure of all of his breeds or exact age. We estimate he's about 4 years old. He was scheduled to be euthanized the next day so we just had to take him home when we saw him. His name derives from the famous phrase "hakuna matata" because it of course means "no worries" and he is a very relaxed, worry free dog! We decided "Kuna" was too feminine, so we changed it to Kuno. Kuno and my other dog Astro are polar opposites. Kuno is extremely easy going. He's okay with laying in bed all day long. However as soon as he sees that leash he lights up and gets so excited! He loves the car and doesn't mind long car rides. He is actually a licensed as my boyfriend's therapy dog. He will let you hug and cuddle him for as long as needed. He's always there when I need someone to nap with! Although he can be lazy, he is still a lot of fun and I couldn't imagine my life without him.

About Astro

Astro is a big ball of energy! Named after Astro from the cartoon "The Jetsons" because he's very goofy and has grey markings similar to the original Astro. He would love to have some new play mates. He's extremely friendly and gets along with anyone. He is also our little Houdini dog. He's hopped 5 ft fences effortlessly, chewed himself free from leashes, harnesses, and even a kennel! I would love for him to have some new friends to tire him out a little bit. Look out... he'll give you kisses until your skin falls off! He always wins everyone's heart. He's got a permanent smile on his face!
