Close to a park perfect for play!
Pet care experience
I live in an apartment close to downtown Iowa city with my husband. Our apartment is only one block away from College Green Park, a perfect place to play or go for a walk! I recently was a volunteer at the local Iowa City Care and Adoption Center as a cat and dog sitter. My duties included, cleaning up the cages, refreshing the food and water bowls, playing with the animals and basic dog training. I have had many variety of animals all my life, including chihuahuas and pitbulls so I am comfortable caring for any type of dog. I have also cared for cats and dogs while family and friends were on vacation. I am a very companionate person and have pletny of time on my hands to take great care of your furry friends!

Kayla has been very good with my dog, which is a new rescue! She was willing to let Gemma warm up to her and has been helpful in taking her on walks!
this was Edie’s first stay with Rover and Kayla could not have been a more perfect match. She was willing to take in my pup even though she was spending the weekend with family. Edie had a blast with Kayla’s puppy Daisy and Edie even cried when we had to leave. I have one exhausted pup and I could not be happier. Will definitely leave her with Kayla again.
Kayla was responsive, easy to work with and flexible with my inexact schedule. My older maltese-poodle mutt, Buffy, was happy when I picked her up. All is well and I would happily book again.
We would recommend Kayla for cat sitting without hesitation! Our cat only needs attention in the morning and evening, so Kayla always came 2x a day while we were gone. Sometimes she would stay for a while, but we never requested more than an hour. Kayla always took care of everything, the litter box, keeping the bowls clean, brushing Miss Kitty. She's a jewel!!
