Pet care experience
I view pets as your children, and think they should be treated with just as much care and love! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, and many other pets, and have 20+ years of experience taking care of a wide range of animals... need a cow sitter? :) I was recently employed as an Adoption Counselor at Tree House Humane Society in Chicago, helping kitties find their forever homes. I was also an Animal-Assisted Therapy volunteer, and would take cats to a nursing home for cuddles! I am now living in Columbia, MO, working in Marketing full-time and volunteering at Second Chance as a cat caretaker. I have two cats at home, Arnold & Bernard, but would love to adopt a dog and more cats in the future! In the meantime, I look forward to taking care of some of your furry children on Rover.

Kayla was amazing! I booked with Rover last minute before my week long trip. Kayla responded to my 1am message the next morning and was immediately available to watch my kitten and guinea pig. A complete life saver. She sent daily updates complete with pictures AND videos of my fur babies, and even stayed for 30 minutes to play every day. Cas fell in LOVE with her, he didn’t even miss me at all! 100% would recommend Kayla, she’s the best!

Dogs: Since I am only doing visits to your home, I would be going on walks near you! Cats: I am an expert cat entertainer, so will be able to play with any toys you may have for your cat.
