I’ve had family dogs for 20 years and now have 3 of my own. We are a social bunch but very laid back at home. I frequently dog sit for friends in the area for short and long term stays.

Kayla’s great! My rambunctious lab pup, Owen, can be a handful and he always comes back tired (which is saying a lot). She always updates me with photos and videos of him having the best time with her dogs. It’s nice to have her as a reliable source when we are out of town and she’s been open to last minute bookings as well. Thank you, Kayla!

Dogs have their own quirks that can be helpful to know up front. I’m good at reading body language but dog parents know their dogs best so if there is something I need to watch out for please let me know. If your dog is toy aggressive or possessive tell me ahead of time and I will make sure everything is up.
A typical day
We typically are in and out of the back yard often when we have dog friends over. It depends on the dogs but most of them love to be outside playing. I do supervise play times and make sure they have access to fresh water.

Availability
I work from home so pick ups and drop offs are very easy. I do a meet and greet with every new client to make sure everyone gets along. I’m very flexible and willing to accommodate different time constraints.
