Hello! My name is Kayla and I have been pet and house sitting for more than 6 years. I just moved to the area last fall, and where I lived before I had a small group of families I would bounce between for their pet sitting needs. Now, I'm trying out Rover to be able to do the same thing up in Minneapolis because I miss all the pupsters and cats I got to hang out with! I have an amazing Bengal Cat named Jane who is 9 and the light of my life! I do not currently have a dog because as it (unfortunately) turns out, Jane does not do well with other pets. I have, however, lived with puppies in the past! For a few years I got to live with a happy-go-lucky three-legged Border Collie named Oreo and before that I lived with a Dachshund/Bichon mix named Teddy. In both cases I helped take care of them when the dog-moms weren't around! I have cared for other cats and have also had regular pet and house sitting jobs with families that included Golden Retrievers, Labs, a Great Dane, Boston Terriers, King Charles Spaniels, Labradoodles, and more! If I didn't name your pups' breed - no worries I will love them just the same! I have cared for animals that need to take oral meds and sat with pups with anxiety during the 4th of July and also during thunderstorms. :( My own cat has had some health concerns and oral surgery so I have experience with and compassion for animals when they are getting over a wound, injury, or surgery (in case your pet is dealing with something like this when you have to head out of town!) I love to go on walks and would love to take your dog with me -- and I have a mean shoestring game for all the cat parents out there! :) If there is anything you want to know about me or questions you might have -- don't hesitate to reach out!
