I have crate trained my dogs and have a fenced yard for them to run around in. While I can not provide care at my own home, due to one of my dogs being reactive, I can provide excellent care in the comfort of your own home. I walk my dogs daily and take them on hikes or outings regularly and would love the opportunity to walk your furry baby. I am versed in various dog training tools as well (treats, prong collars, e collars, long lines, muzzles, etc.) so I can provide the care your dog needs!
Information Kayla L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know any concerns, medical conditions, or special instructions for and about your pet. I have both a reactive dog and a neurologically disabled cat so I am ready to take on any instructions you have for me.
A typical day
I love to let dogs sniff as many trees and bushes as they want but I also love focused walks. Walks where we focus on any trainings or tasks you may want or require from them. Fetch is always a good option, and if your furry one doesn't play fetch, Tug-o-war or other games is also fun! Also, who doesn't love cuddles and watching cats chase lasers or cat toys.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of my families food aggressive dog, as well as numerous friends pets. I have five pets, two dogs and three cats. I have and continue to work on training my dogs. One dog is reactive so I understand the importance of finding reliable dog walkers and pet sitters. I also have one cat with a neurological disorder. Feeding medication and nail trims are a common occurrence in my home, so it should be no problem in yours. I have also trained and owned horses. There is no pet too big or too small, I will watch them all.

Kayla also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Kayla was amazing! Jax sometimes gets nervous or anxious when we aren’t there and with him being older we really need someone who will give him as much TLC as we would if we were home and Kayla did just that. She followed our Pet Care sheet to a T and let us know if there were any issues or if she had any questions!

Kayla was AMAZING !! I had to have a sitter super last minute due to car troubles and my very skittish cat seemed to warm up to her very quickly!! Kayla sent feedback, updates and photos of my baby every visit keeping me assured during my trip! Especially as a first time user of Rover !! She was extremely responsive and quick and 100% I will be coming back if I’m ever out of town again,, especially since you n Venus are besties now XD Thank you again!!!!
Kayla L. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Thank you for taking such good care of wood our good boy!
