Pet care experience
Please check out one of my pet-care videos at https://youtu.be/701DatAbxXI I am a full time student in Monterey Bay. I spend 2 Days out of my week there (Wednesdays and Thursdays) and the rest of my time I am usually in Santa Rosa. I do really well with the dogs who have social anxiety. I like to build trust and, generally, I am not a super high energy person. I don’t raise my voice even in excitement, and I easily gain the trust of dogs who can be wary of others. I have a reliable car and I can take the dogs who need to run it out to their favorite dog park. I am a business administration major who is specializing accounting. I keep the lines of communication open and I actively listen to all concerns. I am also a natural problem solver, so when I identify a problem I also like to identify multiple solutions.
Reviews
Always feel so assured our pup will have a great walk when Kayla picks him up!
The 40 5⭐️ reviews for Kayla on Rover are so deserved! Based on these, we hired Kayla to care for our very senior dog. We were very nervous about using someone new because at 15+ he has ALL of the old age issues - severe arthritis mobility issues, incontinence, anxiety/confusion if his routine changes, and needs some oral medications. She dealt with all of these needs with care and professionalism. We came home to a happy dog and a clean house. We would absolutely use Kayla again, she has our complete trust and confidence and any family pet would be cared for as if they were her own. 5 ⭐️s ++++
Absolutely amazing every single time! Stays in great communication and our dog loves her!!
Great, will hire again.

Every dog and family is different! And I understand that all will have unique needs. I keep a working document on all pets that I get to know, to assure that I am always keen to their temperaments and quirks, allergies, diets, meal times, and routines. I also carry seat belts for my car for safety, a water bowl for hot days, and a few treats! (If diet permit). I was an instructor for the American Redcross and I taught and certified in first aid, water rescue, blood borne pathogens, and cpr/aed; so my knowledge of injury and heat illness are quite extensive.

If they get along with other dogs, other pets, and kids (just in case we encounter one in the wild). Any allergies or dietary concerns. bathroom habits. adventure level and energy level What raises anxiety levels and what techniques seem to sooth stressful moments
A typical day
I know that some dogs have their routines and walking in areas which they are familiar can help keep their anxiety levels down, but for the more adventurous dogs, a state park or state beach are places that I enjoy exploring. My profile says that I do not allow dogs on the bed or on the furniture, but that is incorrect. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and on my bed! I cannot figure out how to amend those details in my profile.

I have school on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the rest of my studies take place at home through the end of May. I have plenty of time to spend with bookings 😊
