Large fenced yard for spoiled dogs!
Pet care experience
*Due to my German shepherd’s age and recent health issues, I can no longer keep young dogs or dogs with any aggressive/dominant tendencies. I would love to keep younger and playful dogs for my energetic corgi but her needs come first.* I have a full time job Tuesday-Friday and experience with dogs of all sizes. I have an 13 year old German I adopted in 2018 and a 6 year old corgi I adopted in 2019. They are very sweet and spoiled. My home has a dog door, very large fenced in back yard, and extra large dog house with a fan if your pup wants to hang out outside. I also have a ramp attached to my deck that makes life a little easier for elderly dogs. When I am not home, the dogs have access to the house but they tend to spend most of their time playing outside if weather permits. I work very close to my house so I am able to check on them during the day if I need to. For the safety of my dogs and yours, I only board one new client at a time. Quick and responsive communication. I was nervous leaving mine for the first time through Rover. Kayla put me at ease. She gave me updates on how my dog was doing and what he had done that day. He enjoyed playing with her dogs and her big backyard. He ate well there which to me is a sign he was comfortable and well cared for. He also was exhausted from all the play which was awesome. I recommend!

Our pups love going to Kayla’s! She makes them feel right at home and loves on them the entire visit. She’s super flexible and sends us a ton of photos while we’re away. Can’t recommend her enough.

I have cared for small to extra large dogs and dogs with special needs. If I can handle German Shepherds and Corgis then I can handle any breed. Since I allow the dogs access to the yard and house while I am gone, please let me know if your dog is a potential escapee. I can make accommodations to make sure your pup is safe.
A typical day
I walk all around the Cloverdale area. I have a big yard with a privacy fence and plenty of room to play. My corgi will gladly play ALL day and loves having another dog to play with. If your dog is older and lazy, there is a sleeping spot open on the couch or they can lounge on the deck.

I work Tuesday-Friday and am home with the dogs on weekends. I work close to my house so I am able to come home and check on the dogs.
