If there is one thing I know about my granddaughter, Kayla Jacobs, it’s that she loves dogs. Since she was a little girl, if a dog walked by her on the sidewalk, she would stop to pet it and tell the dog how adorable he/she was. She might even ask the owners things like “what’s the dog’s name” or “what kind of dog is it”. As a young adult, she was delighted to be the temporary owner of a cocker spaniel named Alfie. When she and Alfie visited us, she was devoted to Alfie — going on long walks and playing games with balls wherever there was a convenient place to do so. You can be assured that she is an honest and compassionate person, who would treat the dogs in her charge with kindness and competence. I would say this even if she weren’t my granddaughter!
