Pet care experience
I volunteered at a local pet shelter and was hand picked to train new trainees on my shift. I work from home on most days and am looking to help fur parents that work away from home feel at ease knowing their dogs are getting exercise and love. I am new to the Tennessee area and have been exploring the nature areas with my own pup and know there are many more pups that would like to see this beautiful area as well. Our Walks consist of the greenways more than the street/sidewalks.

Kayla was fantastic! Our dog, Darcie, and I haven't been apart for more than three days in seven years; hence leaving her was hard. We have a new grandchild in Ohio, and for two weeks, I'd be caring for the baby. Darcie would stay home with my husband. He'd take her out morning and evening, but I needed someone to walk her midday. Darcie took to Kayla right off and eagerly anticipated her arrival each day. We found Kayla tremendously caring, friendly, and reliable, so we wholeheartedly recommend her. She's terrific, and if we need someone to care for Darcie in the future, we'll book Kayla!!!
Kayla was amazing taking care of my two cats while I was out of town for a week. They are both pretty shy, but she made sure to send me pictures every visit showing me they were still doing great! It was such a relief knowing they were in good and safe hands while I was out of town. Thanks Kayla!
I have had Kayla take care of my shih tzu, Bear, several times while my husband and I have traveled out of town. Bear loves Kayla!! I fully trust her, she takes care of everything, and I never have to worry. She’s so good with Bear— she’s one of the only people I feel comfortable leaving him with. If you’re needing care for your dog—I would definitely recommend Kayla!

Please let me know about any diet restrictions or anything that will help me get to care for your dog while under my supervision. Does your dog like other dogs or cats? Does your dog like to wear a harness while walking?
A typical day
I love to interact with dogs and have them learn and listen to basic commands. I can give them treats that are within their diet and not too many of them. Play fetch is always fun and gets the pups to be active or even just getting them to know me and rubbing their bellies!

I look forward to walking my dog at least once a day. I currently stay at home while we just moved here and have been exploring the new areas to walk.
