My name is Kayla.. I guess you can say I am your typical animal lover. I work during the week and I also volunteer at Simply Cats, a cat shelter in Boise. My big dream and lifelong goal would be to run an animal sanctuary/rehabilitation facility. I have always had dogs and cats growing up and have pet sat for numerous friends and family over the years. Currently I have 2 adult female cats and a 27 year old female Cockatoo, Passion. They are my fur and feather babies. I know the time and effort it takes to give quality care and attention to animals and would treat yours with the utmost care and love. I want your dog/cat to feel as if they are with family when under my care. I am comfortable providing care to a variety of animals. Dogs, cats, and birds are where I have the most knowledge and personal experience. I can be very flexible depending on your pets' needs. I would be available to do drop-ins in the mornings and/evenings and spend time with your pets while you are away on the weekends. This could include feedings, walks, socialization, and play time. I always ensure I follow owner's directions and being accurate when it may come to high needs animals. I understand that some animals require special attention and care and I am willing to do what is needed to make sure they maintain a healthy, happy life. I have experience working with dogs who require medication and have worked with dogs with seizures. I have some experience administering medications to dogs, cats and birds.
