Pet care experience
Since I can remember, I have always had 2-4 dogs, with my family and now have one of my own. With boarding visit I am capable of keeping my dog with my parents separate from yours if needed! Over the last year I’ve had over ten families ask me to dig sit and I enjoy it so much I decided to make a job out of it. I’ve worked with larger breeds such as Great Pyrenees, Shepherds, and hounds and also smaller breeds such as French Bulldogs, Terriers and pomeranians. As far as temperament goes, I’ve worked with easy laid back lazy dogs, and high strung, hyper dogs. Puppies and senior dogs are both ages I’ve worked with and all ages in between. I am a real estate agent so I have the luxury of a very flexible schedule. Working with dogs, and giving them joy brings me happiness and I hope to be able to do that for your dog!

We have had Kayla stay at our home several times to watch our girls while we were away. My husband and I don’t have kids yet, so our two dogs and cat are basically our babies. Our absence ranged from over night trips to 5 day getaways, and Kayla was responsible and reliable each and every time. And based on the pictures that she sent while we were gone, our girls loved snuggling and spending time with her. In addition to making sure our animals were well taken care of, Kayla was respectful of our home. She washed the dishes that she used and cleaned up after herself. Before she left she even changed the bed sheets, and threw them in the wash. I would highly recommend Kayla to anyone in need of a dog sitter. And my husband and I will have peace of mind, knowing that our animals will be in good hands, during our vacation to Aruba in January.
Kayla does an amazing job any time she watches my dog. Kylo (my dog) was very shy when I first adopted him but even after just a week of Kayla watching him and being around her family has turned him into a completely different dog who will run up to just about anyone looking to be pet.

Before sitting a dog I would like to know how your dog is with other animals, I would never bring my dog to your house but if I boarded your dog I would want to know if I need to keep mine with my parents. I would also like to know how your dog is in the car, this is if I wanted to take them to a park. I’d like to know if they have any allergies or special medical conditions. I’d also like to know if they have tendencies to be nervous or afraid around anything.
A typical day
I live in a large neighborhood with lots of quiet roads to walk on, I also enjoy going to state parks and dams with the dogs. My house is on the lake so if your dog likes to swim I can certainly arrange that! Frisbees and balls to play fetch are plentiful in my house!
