Pet care experience
Experienced animal caregiver who will ensure that your pet enjoys their stay. At 10 years old I began a dog walking business in my local neighborhood. As the years followed I began watching dogs for family and friends and the rest is history. It would be my pleasure to welcome your pet with care and comfort. I currently am a nurse in the NICU and care for newborn babies working just 3 days a week. Pet sitting fits perfectly in my schedule. I have a dog at home so walks, feed and playtime will be easily incorporated in my schedule. I have an apartment that offers a very spacious dog park. There are also several trails that my Pomeranian and I walk very often. We are very active and hope your pup is the same! My Pomeranian is very friendly and playful. He gets along well with both cats and dogs.
Reviews
It was a very unprofessional experience. Booked for two nights in a row of drop in visits. Kayla didn’t put the key back under the mat the first night and my roommate was locked out of the house and had to call locksmith. She did not communicate or respond until noon the next day. She was 2 hours and 30 minutes late to the next drop in visit which is not okay.
I entrusted Kayla with my diabetic cat for 3 days. Those turned into the most stressful 3 days of my life. Kayla took special care to ask me if my cat’s feeding schedule was strict and I confirmed that it was to ensure her glucose levels remained regulated. She then proceeded to show up 3 hours late the first night, 6 hours late the second night and never showed up for the evening feeding the third night. To make matters worse, I only found out that she was late or did not show up because of my Ring camera. She never notified me that she was running late or unable to make it for any of the feedings because she was hoping to get away with it. And at the end of it all when I thought the nightmare was over, she made it nearly impossible to retrieve my key from her. The day after I returned from my trip, she told me she would come by to drop off my key, only to never respond to any of my text messages. Hours later, she revealed had left Atlanta with my key. I can only hope my review will save another from the stress I endured at the hands of a pet sitter who consistently lied to me, was unresponsive, and careless with my cat’s health.
Kayla was so sweet to our dogs and cat. She was very careful about the medications and feeding schedule for our little chiweenie and our cat who was diagnosed with cancer just as we were scheduled to go out of town. She even went above and beyond when there was a freeze warning while we were away and took care of our faucets and plants. Highly recommend and will be booking her again!
Kayla was awesome with my fur babies. And the most important thing is that the babies absolutely loved her.
