Pet care experience
I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember! My love of animals led me to being an animal shelter employee for over 4 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, reptiles… and I love them all equally! I have been a sitter with Rover for about 3 years, and have met so many wonderful families and animals in that time. Sitting with Rover allows me to continue to embrace my love for animals, since I no longer work at a shelter. I am happy to help give your pets care and love while you are gone! A little more about me: I work full time in non-profit fundraising and have an adorable, needy cat of my own. I am brand new to the area and am excited to explore more! I primarily work from home which means my schedule is very flexible. I am open to whatever you need…whether it is regular walks or visits or occasional pet-sitting during vacations.

I treat every clients pet as my own! Even if I am just stopping in for a walk or feeding, I always make sure to spend some cuddle time with them. I am comfortable to give medication or follow any routine that you may have.

In my initial meeting with a pet and their family, I always like to get a sense of their routine. I want my time with them to be as comfortable as possible! I also will ask for any specific food, treat, or medication requirements… as well as quirks or behaviors that are beneficial for me to know.
A typical day
Activities will vary based on the needs of each pet! I will happily give high energy pets lots of play time, walks, etc. as needed…. I am also happy to accommodate the couch potatoes that need a little more convincing. When we meet, I always ask any quirks or tricks that may be needed in your pet (such as if your pup is anti-rain, how to get them outside).
