Growing up my family dog was Barnes, a bichon poodle mix. Although my dad was his favorite I was definitely his second favorite! When my dad would get up at 4am to go work on the farm Barnes would come and sleep with me. He’s the dog that built my love for animals!As I got older I started dog sitting for friends and family. In 2018 a friend of mine needed a foster home for her boyfriends dog while he was deployed over seas. I had just moved into a new house and was thinking about getting a dog. I of course said yes! And two days later Coco, a pitbull lab mix, was brought to my house. She changed my life for the better! I had Coco for a full year until her owner came home from his deployment. After returning Coco, I became her on and off Foster mom. She would get dropped off on weekends and some times for a week when her owner had his military trainings. Coco’s owner referred me to a friend that he was deployed with which is what really started my love for dog sitting! Seeing how happy the dogs are when taking them outside and playing with them brings me so much joy and one of my favorite things about dog sitting! Luckily life has lead me to have a great opportunity to work full time from home so I can spend my days with my fur baby Ellie Mae. Working from home also gives me the opportunity to open my home for sitting services.
