Pet care experience
I have enjoyed caring for animals my whole life and have frequently helped friends and family with their pets during travels etc. Every animal has a unique, precious personality and it’s a joy getting to know them and gaining their trust.

This was my second time using Kayla. She offered pickup and drop off which was super convenient for me. Rooney was extra happy and worn out this time with all of the hiking and playtime he got!
Lenny had the best time hiking and playing at daycare! Kayla is a great caretaker. You can tell she really loves animals and caring for them. We will definitely be back for more play dates!
Kayla is absolutely wonderful. She watched my dog Rooney while I was at Ojo Caliente and he had so much fun. She sent me updates and pictures of the hikes he was doing with her dogs and the two goats she helps take care of. He had plenty of space to run around and play in the high desert. Her dogs were really well behaved when I was there and I can tell she had a natural ability to take communicate with dogs. I’m not sure he wanted to come home!

Two acres bordering Carson with fenced area for containment, extra large crate if needed, and potential ability to “free range” the property with our friendly dogs! Pets will be kept inside home or enclosed, cozy sunroom at night.

I would like to know ahead of time if a dog has any potty training or medical issues so that I can make the necessary arrangements in home.
A typical day
In addition to backyard playtime, I will take dogs on walks around the neighborhood and the nearby National Forest. Well behaved friends can enjoy hiking and playing with John and David, the two friendly resident adventure goats! John and David love other animals, people, hiking trails and veggie snacks.

Availability
I’m currently working primarily from home, so I will have plenty of time to take them hiking in the surrounding mountains of Carson National Forest and pet their tired, happy bellies after :) I’m available to pick up your pet, if drop off is not convenient.
