I just moved back to Fort Collins for a new job as a wildlife biologist! I work from home Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I go into the office in Boulder on Mondays and Thursdays. I recently finished my masters program and have one cat of my own. I have extensive experience pet sitting and interacting with dogs, cats, and other small pocket pets. I have experience working at animal shelters as an animal care technician, doggy daycare, and at non-profits fostering animals. From 2007 to 2010 I ran a small pet sitting business for all types of creatures. I have volunteered for dog rescues (Nike Animal Rescue Foundation and All Aboard Animal Rescue) 2007 to 2014 and have fostered rescue dogs for 3 years. While fostering, I helped the dogs learn appropriate home behaviors and helped in building confidence before they went to their new homes. In addition, I have extensive experience administering medication and reading and responding to dog behavior appropriately from working full-time at a doggy daycare for 2 years. I have always had a dog in the house since I was born so I have been raised in a home that taught me to respect every animal. I’ve had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits.
