Kayla did a great job with my cat when I was out of town. From the initial request to scheduling a meet-and-greet, communication was prompt from the start. She also included a good amount of detail in the reports after each visit, which I always appreciate :) Very friendly, too! Would definitely use Kayla again in the future!

In my home, it’s important that your animal gets along with other animals, as I have a 2 year old chihuahua mix. She loves playing with other animals, so lots of play time together and enforced nap times (if needed). I love going on walks, so when your dog is with me, they will get a daily walk (depending on weather of course) or lots of outside time in our backyard. Your dog will become a part of our family and daily routine, and anywhere we normally would take our dog along, we will bring your pup too! (If that’s okay with you, for example we took a pup with us to drive through galaxy of lights in December and he loved looking out the window at the lights!)

Dog friendly is a must. If your dog is not dog friendly, then we will not be able to keep them in our home. I require a meet and greet in my home for any services that will take place in my home. Other than that, we just ask to know your dogs typically daily schedule so we can keep it as close to normal to help the transition in our home as much as possible! For drop-in visits/walks, I request at least a video chat before the service so you can give me a general idea of where things are in your home that I may need during the visit.
A typical day
A typical day involves an early morning walk, and outdoor time throughout the day in my fenced in backyard. On the weekends, weather permitting, we love to go to Indian Creek Greenway for some extra sensory walks since there is plenty for pups to smell there!

Availability
I work a hybrid schedule at my job. I work from home 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday). With enough notice I can swap out my in office day to accommodate your stay if needed. If working in office, your dog will get a potty break and short walk on my lunch break, and then lots of play time and attention when I’m home (I’m always home by 4:30pm).
