Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs I have always enjoyed them. When I graduated I jumped into the rescue world and working at a doggie daycare and boarding facility. The rescue was a home based foster care and the daycare was an open play facility with both boarding and daycare. I have worked with Mastiffs to Chihuahuas and friendly to aggressive. My specialty in the rescue was aggressive dogs, working with them and training them to open up again. I enjoy walking, playing and training your dogs, and would love to look after your little Fido while you are at work or on vacation. I work with puppies, seniors and can administer meds

Kayla was very patient with our shy cat and got her to come out from hiding to ask for pets. Kayla sent photos and updates at every check-in. I knew the whole time we were away that our cat was in good hands.
It was a pleasure having Kayla watch my dog and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the future. She provided constant updates while I was away and would respond quickly whenever I checked in.
After our other sitter cancelled on us we scrambled to find a new sitter and Kayla was super helpful and took the job. She was attentive, professional, confident and comforted our dog during a thunderstorm. Recommended!
Kayla did a great job with our dogs and cat. We were particularly concerned with finding a sitter who could handle our newest dog, a fearful rescue shepherd mix who barks repeatedly at anyone who comes to our house. He did bark at her (as he does with the trainer we've hired and everyone else), and he kept it up for quite a while. But she was unfazed, and eventually he calmed down. The house and the animals were in good shape and good spirits when we returned.

I am a teacher, so I able to stop by in the mornings, mid afternoons and evenings. I am also very free on any and all school breaks.
