Aside from being raised around small dogs (Yorkies, Schnauzers and Bichons) and big dogs (Cane Corsos, Labs, Mastiffs), I just believe it takes a special person to care for a loyal and loving creature that may or may not even belong to them. I'm the type of person that walks up to dogs and talks to them more than the owner :) I own a 12 year old Bichon who is my ENTIRE WORLD and I understand how comfort and trust are huge deciding factors when leaving your furbaby to the care of someone else.
