Pet care experience
As a Registered Veterinary Technician it is my passion to care for animals! I graduated from Gaston College as an RVT in 2010 and have since been working in the Belmont area as Lead RVT of a small animal practice. I frequently pet sit for clients of our practice as it comforts them that we already have an established relationship. I am comfortable with special needs pets, senior pets, as well administering medications if needed. All of my personal pets are rescues or were given to me by clients who could no longer care for them. They mean the world to me!

I do have a large crew at home of 6 dogs and 3 cats! We enjoy spending time outdoors on leashed walks and playing ball in the back yard. A few of my older pets have metabolic conditions or normal aging changes such as arthritis and require daily medication.

Important things to know about pets are whether or not they are pet friendly, kid friendly. What situations are comfortable or uncomfortable for them? I want to make sure each situation is appropriate for each pet and do my best to minimize any issues whatsoever!
A typical day
I love to go on walks and engage in active play with those super active fur babies but I am also happy to slow it down and just cuddle and hang with the oldies! I am also happy to offer, pet bathing, ear cleaning, anal gland expression and nail trims as well if interested!

Availability
I currently work full time but have the ability to bring pets with me to work if necessary as well as being able to go and perform pet sitting duties during my lunch hours from 12-2pm. I have open availability on Tuesdays all day as well as Sunday and Saturday!
